Declaration on accessibility

Ferdinand Porsche FERNFH endeavours to ensure that its websites comply with the national legislation (Web Accessibility Act) for the implementation of the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council accessible without barriers.

As the text and background colours of the FERNFH CI specifications only partially meet the required contrast, the colours for the Online Campus, as a central component of our learning landscape, were modified. The colours now deviate from our CI specifications, but meet the WCAG criteria in full. We reserve the right to change the colours after the relaunch of our website and the redefinition of our CI if the CI and WCAG specifications are once again in line.

The PDF and Office documents provided are only partially accessible. An improvement is to be achieved through standardised document creation and targeted staff training. Some videos do not have subtitles, meaning that the spoken content is not yet available for deaf users. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.2 (subtitles recorded) is not fulfilled. The subtitles are constantly being added, but the implementation has not yet been completed.

Live, time-based media such as video and audio media do not fall within the scope of the applicable legal provisions. Third-party content that is not under the control of Ferdinand Porsche FERNFH is excluded from Directive (EU) 2016/2102. No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of this content with accessibility regulations.
