"Cloud Computing" - ist derzeit in lT-Kreisen und darüber hinaus ein viel diskutiertes Thema. lmmer mehr lT Dienstleister bieten ihre Services über die Cloud an und versuchen Marktanteile für sich zu beanspruchen. Einerseits bietet sich Cloud Computing in erster Linie vor allem für kleinere Unternehmen bzw. Startups an, um schon zu Beginn und ohne große initiale Investitionen tätigen zu müssen, auf eine bestehende und gute lT-lnfrastruktur aufzusetzen. Andererseits für große Unternehmen soll die Cloud ebenfalls die Möglichkeit bieten ihre lT-Prozesse bzw. lT-Services in die Cloud auszulagern und somit lT- Kosten zu sparen. Hierbei ist die Identifikation der richtigen Services und Prozesse von größter Bedeutung, um zu einer optimalen Cloud Sourcing Strategie für das Unternehmen zu gelangen. Die zentrale Fragestellung dieser Arbeit ist somit die Identifikation jener Prozesse oder Services eines Unternehmen, die sich am ehesten in die Cloud auslagern lassen. Hierbei wird vor allem auf das Thema Security und Compliance besonderes Augenmerk gelegt.

Cloud computing is currently one of the most discussed topics in lT groups and beyond. More and more lT service providers offer their services through the cloud and try to get more share of the market. One the one hand cloud computing offers for instance great opportunities to small companies and start- ups, running their services in an high performing lT infrastructure, without making huge initial investments. On the other side the cloud shall even give opportunities to big companies, running their lT-services or processes in the cloud and therefore cutting costs. Hereby identifying the right services and processes is one of the most important things to finally achieve a well-defined cloud sourcing strategy for a company. Therefore the key question of my work is to identify those processes and services, which are most likely to run inside the cloud. Moreover the topics security and compliance are considered.
