Verzeichnis der Abschlussarbeiten

In der vorliegenden Bakkalaureats-Arbeit wurde der Einfluss von Autoritäten und
dessen Auswirkungen auf das soziale Gefüge im Allgemeinen und in der Arbeits
welt als Problem erkannt und die Bedeutung von Autorität anhand der Abhandlung
folgender Forschungsfragen hervorgehoben: Welche Formen der Autorität sind in
der Arbeitswelt vorzufinden und wie entstehen sie? Wie gehen Personen damit um,
wenn sie durch die Übernahme einer bestimmten Rolle zur „Autoritätsperson“
(formelle Autorität) werden? Welche Formen der Auseinandersetzung mit Autorität
gibt es? Die Fragen wurden mithilfe bestehender Literatur beantwortet, um eine
theoretische Wissensbasis zu schaffen. Dabei konnten die Formen institutionelle,
funktionale und personale Autorität festgestellt und die Wirkung von Statussymbo
len veranschaulicht werden. Weiters wurde deutlich, dass der Umgang einer Person
mit ihrer Position als Autorität durch soziale Rollen beeinflusst wird und dass
folgende Formen der Auseinandersetzung mit Autorität existieren: Formen der
Anerkennung (freiwillige Bewunderung vs. Autoritätshörigkeit), Akzeptanz der
Autorität in gesellschaftlichen Rollen, Vortäuschung der Akzeptanz der Autorität bei
gleichzeitig innerer Ablehnung, eine erzwungene Anerkennung der Autorität durch
Macht, sowie die Auflehnung und Rebellion.

In this paper the influence of authorities and its effects on social structures in general
and the working environment were identified as problem and the importance of
authority were distinguished by dealing with following questions: which types of
authority exist and how do they occur? How do people behave in their new role as
an authority (formal authority)? Which types of conflicts exist while dealing with
authorities? These questions were answered based on existing literature to achieve
knowledge base about this topic. It was figured out that there are three types of
authority: institutional, functional and personal authority and the effects of status
symbols were shown. Furthermore, it became obvious that social roles influence a
person’s behaviour when becoming a formal authority and that following types of
conflicts exist while dealing with authorities: different types of acceptance (voluntary
admiration versus authority dependence), acceptance of the authority due to social
roles, pretence of acceptance while inner rejection exists, forced acceptance by power,
as well as revolution and rebellion.
