Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Pre-Triage-Prozess am Entry- Checkpoint des LKH Graz II Standort West. Dafür wurde nach einer einführenden Literaturrecherche, welche die Empfehlungen der Weltgesundheitsorganisation sowie des Centers for Disease Control and Prevention darstellt, leitfadengestützte Interviews mit ärztlichen und pflegerischen MitarbeiterInnen, des Entry-Checkpoints geführt. Diese wurden mittels qualitativer Inhaltsanalyse nach Mayring ausgewertet. Die empirische Untersuchung hat ergeben, dass sowohl die räumlichen Gegebenheiten als auch die Prozesse Einfluss auf die erfolgreiche Umsetzung der Pre-Triage am LKH Graz II Standort West haben. So wird die räumliche und technische Ausstattung am Entry-Checkpoint vorteilhaft bewertet. Die Erhebung durch die Checkliste zeigt das Potential infektionsverdächtige Patientinnen erkennen zu können und durch die räumlichen Möglichkeiten können diese Personen gesonderten Behandlungspfaden zugeführt werden.

The present work deals with the pre-triage process at the entry checkpoint of the LKH Graz II West. For this purpose, an introductory literature search, which presents the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention was carried out. This was followed by guided interviews with medical and nursing staff at the entry checkpoint. These were evaluated by means of a qualitative content analysis according to Mayring. The empirical investigation has shown that both the spatial conditions and the processes have an influence on the successful implementation of pre-triage at the LKH Graz II Standort West. In this way, the spatial and technical equipment at the entry checkpoint is rated favorably. The implementation of the checklist shows the potential of recognizing suspected infection patients and the spatial possibilities allow these people to be directed to separate treatment paths.
