Die Kröswang GmbH ist ein Lebensmittelgroßhändler in Österreich und Süddeutschland. Aufgrund des Wachstumes des Unternehmens und der Fortschritte in der heutigen Technologie soll eine Business Intelligence Software implementiert werden. Davon soll auch das Controlling profitieren. Mittels der Business Intelligence Lösung sollen die Datenvisualisierungen für die Auswertungen und Dashboards erleichtert dargestellt werden. Hierzu wurden zwei Programme ausgewählt, welche mittels einer Nutzwertanalyse mit Weight Scoring Model und deren im Vorhinein festgelegten Forderungen miteinander verglichen und bewertet werden.
Die Forschungsfrage lautet wie folgt:
Welche Business Intelligence Lösung, Power BI oder Qlik Sens, ist aus wirtschaftlicher und organisatorischer Sicht im Controlling eines Lebensmittelgroßhändlers als Datenvisualisierungsprogramm geeignet?
Die Hypothese nimmt an, dass Power BI die geeignetste Lösung zur Datenvisualisierung im Controlling ist.
Nach Durchführung der Nutzwertanalyse hat sich Power BI als die geeignetste Business Intelligence Lösung für das Controlling eines Lebensmittelgroßhändlers herausgestellt.

Kröswang GmbH is a food wholesaler in Austria and southern Germany. Due to the growth of the company and the advances in today's technology, a business intelligence software should be implemented. Controlling should also benefit from this. Using the business intelligence solution, the data visualizations for evaluations and dashboards should be presented more easily. For this purpose, two programs were selected, which were compared and evaluated using a utility analysis with a weight scoring model.
The research question is as follows:
Which business intelligence solution, Power BI or Qlik Sens, is suitable as a data visualization program from an economic and organizational perspective in the controlling of a food wholesaler?
The hypothesis assumes that Power BI is the most suitable solution for data visualization in controlling.
After carrying out the utility analysis, Power BI emerged as the most suitable business intelligence solution for controlling a food wholesaler.
