Die COVID-19-Pandemie hat neben unserem Sozialleben und der Wirtschaft auch massive Auswirkungen auf unsere Arbeitswelt. Nach den weltweit verordneten Lockdowns mussten Arbeitgebende schnell reagieren und ihren Mitarbeitenden binnen weniger Tage das Arbeiten im Homeoffice ermöglichen. Nach beinahe drei Jahren Pandemie wollen viele Arbeitnehmer*innen nicht mehr dauerhaft an den Büroarbeitsplatz zurückkehren und das beeinflusst viele arbeitsbedingte Aspekte. Ausgangspunkt für diese Bachelorarbeit ist eine umfassende Literaturanalyse von neuesten Forschungsarbeiten, Studien und Statistiken. Darauf aufbauend sollen die Fragen geklärt werden, wie sich die Pandemie auf die Arbeitsplatzgestaltung ausgewirkt hat und ob dabei bereits eine stabile Situation entstanden ist. Außerdem soll geklärt werden, welche zukünftigen Trends sich in diesem Bereich abzeichnen und welche potenziellen Problemfelder daraus resultieren können. Es konnte herausgefunden werden, dass es neben positiven Erscheinungen wie z.B. erhöhter Produktivität auch zu einigen negativen Aspekten bei der Praktizierung von Homeoffice kommen kann. Im Wesentlichen sind Unternehmer*innen dazu angehalten, ihre Arbeitsplatzgestaltung und Arbeitsplatzkonzepte genau zu evaluieren und an die neuen Gegebenheiten einer hybriden Arbeitswelt anzupassen.

The COVID-19-pandemic has had a massive impact on our social life, the state of the economy and on our working environment. After the global lockdowns, employers had to react immediately and enable their employees to work from home in a matter of days. After almost three years of the pandemic, many employees do not wish to return to the office permanently, and this affects many work-related aspects. The starting point for this bachelor thesis is to extensively analyse and review the latest research, studies and statistics focused on this topic. Based on this information, a clear understanding of how the pandemic has affected the workplace, and if a situation of stability regarding workplace design has already been reached. Furthermore, it will clarify which future trends are emerging in this area and which potential problem areas may arise as a result. It could be found, that apart from positive effects such as increased productivity, there are also negative aspects to the practice of home office as well. Essentially, entrepreneurs are encouraged to carefully evaluate their workplace design and workplace concepts and adapt them to the new circumstances of a hybrid world of work.
