Durch Industrie 4.0 sollen Produktionsprozesse entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette optimiert werden. Um dies zu erreichen kommt es zu einer Kombination verschiedener technologischer Komponenten, welche miteinander kommunizieren müssen. Bei der Constantia Teich GmbH gab es die Anforderung, einen bestehenden Prozess durch den Einsatz einer für den Industriebereich vorgesehenen Datenbrille zu unterstützen. Um dies zu erreichen wurde von der Becos GmbH eine für die ausgewählte Vuzix M300 Datenbrille maßgeschneiderte Applikation entwickelt, welche u.a. den Prozess der Stichproben-Inventur abbildete.

Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit wurde der ausgeführte Ist-Prozess der Stichproben-Inventur bei der Constantia Teich GmbH erhoben und dokumentiert. Nach der Definition des durch die Datenbrille unterstützten Soll-Prozesses wurden für beide Varianten Prozessdurchlaufzeiten gemessen und zueinander in Relation gesetzt. Dadurch konnte die Forschungsfrage, wie bestehende Prozesse in einem Produktionsbetrieb durch den Einsatz von Datenbrillen messbar verbessert werden können, beantwortet werden.

IoT for industry is a well known and often used catchphrase these days. The use of new technological products, like smart glasses, allows to optimize production processes along the value chain. The Constantia Teich GmbH had the requirement, to support existing processes through the use of smart glasses. For this scenario, the contractor Becos GmbH developed an individual application, which runs on Vuzix M300 data glasses.

As part of this work, the current executed process of the spot tests inventory was documented and evaluated. After that, a for the data glasses customized future process was defined and the processing times of these new option were documented. The results of the time recordings of the current and the future process was compared. So it was possible to answer the research question, how it is possible to gain an measurable process optimization through the use of smart glasses.
