In Unternehmen steht man ständig vor der Herausforderung, dass Aufgaben verwaltet und sie den verfügbaren Personalkapazitäten angeglichen werden müssen.
Diese wissenschaftliche Arbeit beantwortet folgende Fragestellung: Wie kann in einem Unternehmen eine Verbesserung der Aufgabenverwaltung auf allen Hierarchieebenen, unter Berücksichtigung von Personalkapazitäten und unter Anwendung von softwaregestützten Kanban-Boards erreicht werden?
Es wird dargestellt, welche Mindestanforderungen ein Softwaretool zur Verwaltung von Aufgaben erfüllen muss und welche Verbesserungspotentiale eine Aufgabenverwaltung abdecken soll.
Ein Kanban-Board-Konzept wird ausgearbeitet, welches eine Verwaltung von Aufgaben auf Basis von Personalkapazitäten zulässt.
Die Umsetzung und Anwendung der softwaregestützten Aufgabenverwaltung erfolgt nachvollziehbar im Softwaretool Jira Software des Herstellers Atlassian. Es wird dabei nachgewiesen, dass in der Praxis alle Mindestanforderungen und das Kanban-Board-Konzept umsetzbar sind und alle Verbesserungspotentiale bedient werden können.
Damit ist bewiesen, dass der Einsatz von Softwaretools zu einer Verbesserung der Aufgabenverwaltung führen kann, sofern sie die ausgearbeiteten Bedingungen erfüllen.

As an ongoing process companies have to ensure that its tasks match the capacity of their employees and that these tasks are managed.
The research question of this paper is: How can the management of tasks in companies be improved on all hierarchical levels, in respect of the capacity of their employees and under use of Kanban boards?
This paper shows on the one hand, which minimum requirements a software tool needs to fulfil for managing tasks and on the other hand, which room of improvements they cover.
A concept of a Kanban board is presented which allows to manage tasks based on employee’s capacity.
The task management is realized and demonstrated in Jira Software (a product of Atlassian) in a comprehensible matter. In doing so, it was possible to verify, that all minimum requirements and the Kanban board concept are fulfilled, and the room of improvements is supported.
Consequently, it is evidenced that the management of tasks can be improved by software tools, if they fulfil the conditions above.
