Health equity is a topic that faces some challenges, especially in old age. Many aspects, such as age-related impairment and economic, cultural, social and health factors, must be considered and included. In order to be able to guarantee health equity even in old age, a good interplay of political forces and social society is essential. The diversity of the socio-economic factors as well as the personal backgrounds and surroundings of those affected demand the consistency of the various measures, projects as well as support fields in this area. The extent to which selected projects contribute to health equity in old age is analyzed by means of guided interviews with project leaders and participants of selected projects. The empirical method has shown that consistently positive results have been achieved, whether structural or operational. Participation in projects promotes social participation and the health of individuals and their surroundings
