Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Einführung und Umsetzung von Systemen der unterstützten Kommunikation (UK) im Hospizbereich. Dazu wurden sieben Interviews mit Expertinnen und Experten aus dem Hospizbereich durchgeführt. Diese wurden dazu befragt welche Probleme in der Kommunikation mit Patientinnen und Patienten gesehen werden und wie die derzeitige Kommunikationssituation erlebt wird. Ebenso wurde der Frage nachgegangen, welche einheitlichen Strategien der unterstützten Kommunikation zur Verbesserung der Kommunikation beitragen und welche Herausforderungen bei einer Implementierung von unterstützter Kommunikation im Hospizbereich gesehen werden. Die Auswertung der Interviews erfolgte nach der qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse nach Mayring. Die empirische Untersuchung hat ergeben, dass die Hauptprobleme in der Kommunikation am Gesundheitszustand des Patienten, sowie erforderlicher aber nicht vorhandener Zeit liegen. Die aktuelle Kommunikationssituation wird als gut befunden, mit Möglichkeiten für Besserungen. Die Kommunikationsform wird jeweils individuell an den Patienten angepasst. Fortbildungen und Schulungen des Pflegepersonals werden als mögliche Strategie zur Verbesserung gesehen, sowie ein möglichst früher Beginn mit der Anwendung von unterstützter Kommunikation. Als die wesentlichsten Hindernisse und Hürden wurde der Kostenfaktor erkannt sowie die notwendigen Zeitressourcen.

This work deals with the introduction and implementation of systems of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) in the hospice sector. Seven interviews with experts from the hospice sector were conducted. The experts were asked about the problems seen in the communication with patients and how the current communication situation is experienced. The question of which uniform strategies of augmentative and alternative communication contribute to the improvement of communication and the challenges of implementing augmentative and alternative communication in the hospice sector was also investigated. The evaluation of the interviews is carried out according to the qualitative content analysis according to Mayring. The empirical study has shown that the main problems in communication are due to the patient's health condition as well as the necessary but not available time ressources. The current communication situation is considered to be good, with the possibility of improvement. The form of communication is individually adapted to the patient. Training and training of nursing staff is seen as a possible strategy for improvement, as well as a start as early as possible with the application of augmentative and alternative communication. The most important obstacles and hurdles were identified as the cost factor and the necessary time resources.
